The Purpose

My name is Colin Emerich. I launched this as a creative space to share experiences in all areas of life that our being brings. The wisdom, lessons, and growth that encompass this path and that I believe could help others.

A significant factor that led me to start this forum was the passing of 2 loved ones (my father and my grandmother), along with some tough trials within my personal life that led to a sense of loneliness, deep depression and anxiety in the months that followed. I found through these months of finding myself and growing, that writing became an avenue that gave a sense of escape from the everyday rumination within my mind. I began to not only journal, but to write a lot about my personal experiences and emotions. I quickly found through social media and peer readers that a lot of people seemed to connect with the outlooks I shared on life and the ways in which we live.

Therefore, if you are interested in expanding your mind, uplifting insight, and a positive outlook, then I advise you to take a look at my content. I like you am continuously learning in this life, which inspired my blog “The Eternal Pursuit of Wisdom with Colin”.

I hope through navigating, you not only learn about myself, but more importantly that you find some valuable ways of looking at life that you may not have had before. That those going through mental health difficulties can find a bit of serenity in seeing similar experiences. That you can learn from my mistakes. That I can help bring you closer to God and your purpose.
